After having proposed dematerialized payment solutions, several manufacturers have launched more seriously into the banking sector with real physical cards. This is the case of the Chinese giant huawei, with the huawei card, but also of apple, with its immaculate white apple card. According to techcrunch, google should follow this trend.
The mountain view firm, which already offers a payment instrument called google pay (and including both android pay and google wallet), could launch its own debit card.
Following the example of apple with its apple card, the blue card google would have a dedicated application. The user would then be able to view his purchases, transfer money to his account, change card information, deactivate contactless payment, change the security code or even block the card. In case of problems with a purchase, the application would display information about the location of the transaction using maps in order to contact the seller.
The google ecosystem would thus be entirely at the service of the user. Google is currently working on its google card, a debit card designed to compete with the apple card. This card would complement the google pay device, which allows to pay online.
Instead of adding a different credit card, users could directly use their google card. Google is currently working on its google card, a debit card designed to compete with the apple card.
